Enhanced Mainstream Provision

Welcome to our EMS class.
Kirkbymoorside Primary School is now an Enhanced Mainstream School for Communication. We as a school have received additional training in this area and are committed to creating a communication friendly environment which will support children with speech and language needs to flourish.

There is a team of two specialist teachers and two learning support assistants based within the school that work with children that have speech, language and communication needs in the surrounding area, usually within their own local primary school, however some children who need more intensive support travel to Kirkbymoorside so that they may benefit from the excellent teaching and learning that takes place here.
